File Extension WRF

Files that contain the WRF extension are associated with two different programs which include WebEx and ThinkFree Write. WebEx is a web conferencing application by Cisco Systems, and ThinkFree Write is a word processing application similar to Microsoft Word. WRF files will contain data related to the program that created them.

If the WRF file is created by WebEx, it is an audio file type that contains data related to audio formats, recordings, codecs, and other elements which are necessary for playing back audio recordings. WebEx is a web conferencing application that consists of a suite of different programs that allow you to participate in online conferences for business, educational, and marketing purposes. The WebEx program can also capture video which can be streamed over the WebEx website.

WRF files created by ThinkFree Write are a document file type that contains text, graphics, charts, graphs, font styles, and other components typically used in a document. ThinkFree Write uses formatting similar to Microsoft Word and is part of a suite of applications produced by ThinkFree, Inc.

How to Open WRF Files

If you are unsure what program created the WRF file, double click on the file to see if it will automatically open in a default application. Depending on the WRF file type, you may have a program installed on your PC that is capable of reading the file contents.

If the CRF file is associated with WebEx and you use Windows, you can open the files with Cisco WebEx Player, which allows you to open the files, watch a video recording, and share the recordings with others.
