File Extension LST

The file extension LST is associated with more than 20 different programs and applications. The most common programs include Oracle, FoxPro, Adobe, or List text files. LST files contain data which is directly related to the program that created them.

If the LST file is associated with Oracle, this file type can be used with a variety of Oracle applications. LST files created with Visual FoxPro are a file type that contains data related to a variety of applications used with FoxPro. Microsoft Visual FoxPro is a program that builds database solution of all sizes, including desktop environments, client-servers, and web servers.

If the LST files are associated with Adobe, the files are a text file type that contains plain text data in ASCII format. LST files of this type are used with Adobe Type Manager, which is an application that allows you to create high quality bitmaps from Adobe PostScript format. The bitmaps are created from outlines in the PostScript Type I and Open Type formats.

How to Open LST Files

LST files that are list text files can be opened with any basic text editing program such as Notepad or WordPad for Windows, Apple TextEdit for Mac, or gEdit and Nano Editor for Linux.
