The file extension LETTERHEAD is associated with the Creatacard and PrintMaster software applications. Creatacard is a desktop publishing software program by American Greetings that provides a variety of tools for creating greeting cards with integrated letterheads. PrintMaster is a software program produced by Broderbund that provides tools for creating professional print projects.

The file extension LETTERHEAD is a data file type that contains a variety of different letterheads which are used with professional documents. The letterheads can be used to create stationery or to create a business letter that contains a heading at the top of the document which typically provides a logo, business address, phone number, and other contact information.

For Mac OS X, you can open the file extension LETTERHEAD using PrintMaster 2012 Platinum which is available in a paid version on the Broderbund website. PrintMaster requires Mac OS X 10.5 or higher with the latest Java update installed, PowerPC G4 867 MHz or faster with G5 PowerPC or Intel Mac 1GHz processor or higher. There is also a version of Creatacard for Mac by American Greetings. You may be able to find a paid version of the application on websites such as eBay and Amazon.

If you are unable to open the LETTERHEAD file due to lack of access to the above named applications, you can try converting the file to another format for use with other applications.
