File Extension ADM

The file extension ADM is associated with multiple programs and applications and various file types. The programs and applications include Microsoft Group Policies, Alphacam, Extensis Portfolio, and Advantage Database. ADM files contain data and information related to the program that created the file.

How to Open ADM Files

ADM files which are part of Extensis Portfolio Catalog must be opened using the Portfolio Catalog digital asset management software application. Portfolio is available on the Extensis website and is compatible with the Windows operating system and Mac OS X.

If the ADM file is related to Advantage Database, it can be opened using the Advantage Database Server which is available on the Sybase website. Advantage Database can be used with Windows and the Linux operating system. Since this type of ADM file is text-based, you can view its contents using any text editing program such as Notepad or WordPad for Windows and gEdit or Vim for Linux.
