File Extension FAX

The file extension FAX is associated with a variety of different faxing software applications, such as EssentialFax, FaxCenter, SuperFax, and others. How to Open FAX Files

If you are using the Windows operating system, you can view the file extension FAX with the Photo Viewer which is built into Microsoft Windows. The Photo Viewer is available in the Pictures library which can be accessed by clicking on Start on the main toolbar and then choosing Pictures from the menu. For Mac OS X, you can use Apple Preview to view the file extension FAX. Apple Preview is preinstalled in OS X Lion and OSX Mountain Lion and will open FAX files. Simply double click on the FAX file to open it in Preview. You can also opt to drag the FAX file to the Preview icon to open it and view the contents.
